Welcome
We’re excited to welcome your friends and family here to our wonderful mountain community in the heart of the southern Rockies of northern New Mexico. At 8,500 feet, our winters are action-packed and snow-filled and our summers refreshingly cool. Ute Indians, miners, ranchers and priests mingle in myths to create the legends of Angel Fire—named for the fiery light on alpine peaks. And while nowadays we’ve gone global and have hosted many world-class events, we’ve held on to our down-home lifestyles. Take a few minutes to enjoy our Visitor Guide. It has plenty of travel tips to help you plan your vacation. And when you arrive, be sure to stop by our Visitor Center for a free cup of coffee, a doughnut and some conversation. Then we’ll send you out to explore our magical mountains and spectacular Southwest sun.
